Success Defined.

The Herrick Family raised $1190.00 benefiting its 2009 charity, the gift of solar panels for the Archdiocese of Tororo, Uganda.

A special thank you to everyone who participated and helped spread the word!

It takes everyone to support even the smallest among us.

ONTO THE FUN STUFF!

Voting is now open for the Herrick Family 2010 charity.

Comment as to what you think would be the most deserving of charities.  I will compile the top five and create a poll on which to vote for 30 days.

Voting is open until April 1, 2010.

  2. I vote for Gospel for Asia, buying farm animals, sewing machines and other items to help the people become self-sufficient.

  3. I would like to let everyone know that 3 villages were recently destroyed in Uganda due to massive mud slides. Here is a link with many pictures. The villages are part of the Archdiocese that Linda and I have become involved with. Fr. Deogratias Ekisa (who Laura (and maybe Paula) knows well) can help us target a family sponsored relief effort if you are so inclined. So I submit Uganda, once again, as a possible project. http://enteruganda.com/brochures/pictorial/?path=./Bududa%20Landslide/&page=0
